Charli XCX is one serious pop goddess. The London-born singer, not only knows her way around a hit song (literally, we’re still so obsessed with “Boom Clap”) but she’s also one of the most entertaining and hilarious people to follow on social media. Seriously, her Instagram and Snapchat are #goals and super relatable.

Just look at this goddess.

We feel ya Charli, we really do.

Since releasing her album Sucker back in 2014, Charli has been busy setting up her own record label, Vroom Vroom Recordings, released an EP with PC Music’s Sophie, appeared on “Drop That Kitty” with Tinashe and Ty Dolla $ign, toured with Jack Antanoff’s band Bleachers and has also been working on her third album. Phew, that’s one busy popstar.

Now the 23-year-old singer songwriter has revealed that the record is nearly here! Eeek!

Speaking to The Evening Standard, Charli said, “”I’m going to be putting a record out soon and it’s going to be the most pop thing I’ve done. I’m just finishing it but I can’t say anything yet.”

Earlier in the year, Charli revealed to music magazine NME that she’d worked with longtime collaborator Stargate (Rihanna, Selena Gomez) on the album, along with rising producers BloodPop (Grimes, Justin Bieber) and Sophie (Madonna).

It was also revealed this year that Charli would be assisting Cartoon Network on the revival of their hit show The Powerpuff Girls.

Watch Charli talk about her love of The Powerpuff Girls and her urge to become a superhero below.
