Britney Spears' latest album was inspired by Selena Gomez and we totally get it
Britney Spears performed at the Apple Music Festival in the UK, but stopped by the recording booth with Julie Adenuga beforehand to talk about her new album. The interview shows us a very real side of Britney, fresh and open and honest. And, we just love her voice. We could listen to her talk all day. But here are some of the best parts:
I like to do fun stuff. I'm all about having fun. And I like doing other people's music...I have a section on the show where I do Missy Elliott's music, and it's just fun.
Brit Brit also opens up about an artist that inspires her and while we LOVE it, we are surprised by the name check.
"I really like Selena Gomez's album Revival. I was really inspired by that. It was really clever and it was really smooth. And um, you know, she's Spanish and she's a baby so I was really inspired by her work. I think as women it's cool to look up to other women, and I mean, she's younger than me but I was like, wow, this is really good stuff."
I mean, how can you not be inspired by Selena and her musical slayage?
