It’s no secret that Queen Bey fans are passionate people…and so are country music lovers. So of course, the Twitter reactions to Beyonce’s CMA performance were kinda newsworthy in and of themselves. Because what else can you expect when she performs “Daddy Lessons” with the Dixie Chicks (who are on tour for the first time in 10 years)?

Beyoncé has had a truly stellar year (Lemonade was almost too much for us to handle), and what we love so much about this is that she’s willing to rock out and show her appreciation for a genre completelty different from what she usually works within. Plus, the CMA performance couldn’t have come at a better time; just as we’re welcoming the holidays (yeah, we know it’s November, but the holidays are almost here).

Understandably, exercising patience got a little…heated.

In one word from our favorite child star Mara Wilson, our feelings about Bey are summed up:

Hey look, it’s Reese Witherspoon!

Needless to say, Bey gave them the performance they were all waiting for.

And here’s the tweet that truly sums up EVERTHING important right now:

Maybe “Woman in the White House” should be #1, but you get the idea.

Here’s some more Beyoncé love for the road:

Go Bey! Making us super ridiculously proud like you always do.

SLAY.
