An Amazon Prime subscription can now land you exclusive concert tickets
Move over, free two-day shipping — there’s a brand new reason why people will want to get an Amazon Prime subscription. The service is testing out a very cool new feature, and let’s just say it’s music to our ears.
The very lucky folks in London will be able to test out the new subscription perk first. Amazon announced not one, but four music festivals that’ll be taking place in London — and Prime subscribers are the only ones who’ll be able to get in. For people who love live shows, it’s definitely a good incentive to sign up for the service.
The first show, which will take place on May 23rd, will feature Blondie as the headliner.
The legendary singer just released a new album called Pollinator, but there’s always a great chance that she’ll play the hits from back in the day as well. (Fingers crossed.)
The events are being promoted as “Prime Live Events,” and the other three concerts will be happening in June and July.
While there hasn’t been anything announced for the United States, it’s possible that more dates might crop up soon, and more opportunities will be made available to American Prime subscribers. The fact that the company is testing the waters is definitely promising.
