Wait, is Adele performing at the 2017 Super Bowl? 5 reasons we hope the rumor is true
We can’t imagine why everyone wouldn’t rush to the TV to see Adele perform live, which is why we’re praying to the entertainment gawds that the rumors about Adele performing at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show are true.
The Idolator cites a report by The Sun which claims the “Hello” singer is set to headline the Super Bowl halftime set, but so far this is all hearsay based on an unconfirmed NFL source. The report claims Adele’s been offered the gig, but she’s allegedly battling a case of “nerves.” We happen to believe there’s no reason why she wouldn’t absolutely slay the job if given the chance.
For starters, she has tons of celebrity fans, including fellow musicians. That could help draw some other huge acts to perform as well. The more, the merrier, right? Don’t act like you’ve already forgotten the electrifying musical moment that was Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Beyoncé’s joint 2016 Super Bowl performance.
Also, everyone knows Adele’s live performances are glorious.
Her music catalog is full of hits.
Seriously, Adele has endless anthems and we want to hear ALL of our faves. And yes, we’re already imagining how amazing “Hello from the other siiiide” will sound in a stadium full of excited fans.
She’ll bring the emotion out of everyone.
Seriously, when Adele cries, we all cry.
Beyoncé is a tough act to follow…
…but if anyone can do it, Adele can.
We have faith in you Adele!
