Alert! We might’ve just gotten confirmation that Yoda will make an appearance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The voice and puppeteer behind Yoda, Frank Oz, potentially let out the news that Yoda will be in the upcoming Star Wars movie. This is pretty exciting and Star Wars info rarely gets out so let’s investigate! After all, we’d love to see Yoda dispensing some wisdom to Luke in The Last Jedi.

Frank Oz was out and about answering questions about his documentary Muppet Guys Talking: Secrets Behind the Show the Whole World Watched at South by Southwest in Austin and so Variety obviously used the opportunity to ask a few Star Wars-related questions. In the interview, we discovered that Oz has yet to see Rogue One but plans to. Oh, and he thought The Force Awakens was really entertaining. Pretty straightforward answers.

But when asked about whether or not Yoda would make an appearance in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, he got cryptic”

Did he just low-key confirm that Yoda will be in the film? That’s such a non-answer answer. It sounds like he’s waiting to be told he can talk about it — which means there’s something to talk about. We don’t want to get our hopes up but it seems totally possible that Yoda will be in the film. Guess we’ll have to wait until December when The Last Jedi hits theaters to know for sure!
