We’re just a couple months away from the release of Fifty Shades Darker. But, luckily for us, the film has already shared its first single. And it is as epic as what we hope the movie itself will be.

The song, titled “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” is a lovely ballad by the one and only Taylor Swift, along with former One Direction member, Zayn Malik. But aside from the song, the best part of the release is Taylor Swift’s reaction.

On her Instagram account, Swift shared a screenshot of the iTunes top song chart.

She wrote, “Well that escalated quickly,” as her reaction to seeing her brand new song already on top of the charts.

We’re not at all surprised at how popular Taylor’s song is since people have been hungry for new music from her since basically her last album dropped.

This is Swift’s first song in two years, since the release of 1989 in 2014. Needless to say, we’re glad to hear her back on the scene.

This week, several other celebrities also shared their excitement over the song. Lena Dunham, whose boyfriend Jack Antonoff wrote the song, expressed pride and excitement for her beau (as well as her friends Swift and Malik).

Meanwhile, it’s been a big year for Malik, who started his solo career with his first album, Mind of Mine.

If the rest of the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack is anything like this song, we can’t wait to hear what else is in store.
