In case you were nervous about Star Wars: Episode IX staying on schedule for its release, don’t worry! It turns out they got a jump on production and part of the final chapter of the newest Star Wars trilogy has already been filmed, so commence droid dance party!

In a recent episode of MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast featuring Colin Trevorrow, the Episode IX director revealed some insider information about a scene The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson shot for Episode IX.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be in theaters December 15th, 2017, with Episode IX scheduled to be released May 24th, 2019. If you ask us, sounds like the Force is with them on this.
