We all love the Avengers, but it seems like Spider-Man loves them the MOST. We get a taste of that in the international trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which Peter Parker goes complete fanboy.
In Captain America: Civil War, we saw a little bit of Peter Parker losing his cool over Tony Stark and the other Avengers. (Come on, even Ant-Man was freaking out over Captain America, and WHO WOULDN’T?!) But, the latest look at the web slinger, which comes just after another trailer, offers a behind-the-scenes look at what Peter might’ve been thinking during the airport battle in Civil War — and he’s the *most* excited!
What was he doing when we couldn’t see him on screen? Just casually pointing out all of the superheroes that he loves…because he’s recording the whole thing, and is clearly going to watch it a thousand times once he’s back in the States.
Ooooo look, it’s Iron Man! Let’s play it cool. Iron Man seems to be a bit of a mentor-type figure to Spider-Man. Just look at how adorable they are flying together.
It’s also nice to see Tony helping Peter figure out this whole superhero thing. Can you imagine Tony Stark being your buddy?! That’s #TheDream.
You can watch Peter’s full fanboy freakout in the trailer below.
So awesome, right?! He even got to brag about knowing Captain America. Anyone else wondering what exactly the “Captain America Fitness Challenge” entails?
Prepare for your own fanboy freakout when Spider-Man: Homecoming flies into theaters on July 7th. Until then, just keep losing it over this trailer and pretending that you’re also besties with the Avengers.
