Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film will center on the Manson Murders
Tarantino and MURDER! What more could you ask for?! Quentin Tarantino is know for his bloody films, and word is he’s working on a new project that would be his first based on a true story. Which story? Tarantino could be tackling the famous Manson Murders in his next film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Yes, hold on to your hats, this could be bloody.
In 1969, Charles Manson ordered some of his followers to kill actress Sharon Tate and others inside her Los Angeles home. The murders are perhaps one of the most well-known cases of the last few decades. Especially since it involved members of a cult who followed Manson.
And now King of Blood Quentin Tarantino is said to be polishing a script based on the events and has begun talking to big names like Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lawrence. But since the script isn’t even finished yet, we really don’t know much more at this point.
But, Twitter still had FEELS.
Because, hello, this is one huge director taking on infamous murder cases.
And, there’s even speculation about who else could be involved already.
Leo?! *fingers crossed*
Word from The Hollywood Reporter is that we might get more of Sharon Tate’s story. This is great news because so often true crime forgets the victims while focusing on the assailants. Wouldn’t it be cool to know more about Tate than how she died? We definitely think so.
The film wouldn’t shoot until 2018, and we’ll certainly be keeping our eyes wide open for any more news about this project.
