You know how everybody seems to have those cool mini Polaroid cameras these days? Well, the official Polaroid movie trailer is going to make you afraid to use one ever again. If ever there was one, Polaroid is the scary movie of the millennial generation. The movie centers around a couple of kids who find an old instant camera. Whoever has their picture taken by the Polaroid camera dies. It’s a pretty simple premise, but an all too relatable one. After all, in this world, celebrities like Ariel Winter, Kim Kardashian, and Maisie Williams, who documented her entire vacation with polaroids, would be in for it.

The trailer is simple: One girl finds the camera, uses it, and a bad ghost-thing comes after them all to try and kill them. Even destroying the picture can’t help them. Believe it, they tried. In the trailer, they even burn it, but as it burns, one of the friends catches fire, too.

So, really, no one is safe from this polaroid camera.

And, unfortunately, everyone wants their picture taken by it… at least until they realize. Honestly, this movie should run a shiver down the spin of everyone who ever looked at an old camera and thought, “Cool.”

Sounds pretty scary right? Well, it should be. Who doesn’t love a good polaroid picture? But in this world, it could end up killing you.

Recognize some of the cast? The movie stars some of your favorite teen television actresses, like Madelaine Petsch from Riverdale, Kathryn Prescott from Finding Carter, and Katie Stevens from Faking It.

So mark your calendars and get ready! Maybe this will have Kim Kardashian changing that polaroid Instagram trend. After all, what if the shadow comes for all her friends? That shadow is the stuff of nightmares — we’re not sure that we’ll be risking it.
