We’ve been full of excitement since the Star Wars prequel was first announced. (That collective squealing you heard? That was us.) But this newest version of the final trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has us literally screaming with glee. The trailer, called “Trust,” highlights the relationship between our favorite Star Wars feminist Jyn Erso and the not-so-charming droid K-2SO.  And we learn so much from this latest installment of Rogue One trailers!

First of all, we see Jyn as a little one, getting some kind of a crystal from an older woman…her mom?

Hmmm, does this mean Jyn can use the Force? Or do they just believe in its inherent power? Jyn is still attached to that crystal in the present, though, and we bet that’s important!

K-2SO (voiced by Firefly alum Alan Tudyk) starts the action, voicing incredibly superficial support for Jyn’s plan.

Hilarious. Certainly, had they met, C-3PO and K-2SO would be the best of friends!

Check out the new Rogue One trailer below:

K-2SO is not just full of dark humor. He’s also got mad fighting skeelz. I mean, he cooly catches a bomb thrown by a Stormtrooper! How awesome is that?!

Tickets for Rogue One go on sale Monday at 12:01 a.m.  In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, here’s the story’s premise. Before the events of A New Hope, a group of “unlikely heroes” join together on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. Of course, big bad Darth Vader makes an appearance.

We have so many questions! Rumors about Darth Vader’s narrative have been rampant. After all, as Screen Rant points out, in A New Hope, Darth Vader is pretty unimpressed of the Death Star. He refers to it as a “technological terror” that “could not rival the power of the Force.”

So what does this mean for Rogue One? Only time will tell. Regardless, we bet he’ll have a run in with our girl Jyn Erso. And we’re just as certain that she’ll hold her own.
