Marvel just dropped a new "Black Panther" trailer, and it'll cure your post-Christmas blues
As if we weren’t already insanely excited about Marvel’s upcoming film Black Panther, the studio decided to offer up a little Christmas gift. They released a new 30-second Black Panther trailer for the highly anticipated movie, which is due out in February. (Not that we’re counting down the days or anything.) Starring Chadwick Boseman as the titular character/king of the fictional country of Wakanda, Black Panther may just be Marvel’s best film yet.
People have been pumped about the movie for quite some time now. The first trailers have millions of views on YouTube. Early reviews have been great, and the all-star cast behind the project has us on the edge of our metaphorical seats. But this trailer takes things to a whole new level. In just 30 seconds, Marvel reminds us why everyone has been so excited for King T’Challa to step forward and take center stage in his own cinematic outing.
So, what does the new trailer show us? We get more of Boseman as the royal superhero Black Panther, kicking ass and taking names. There are hints at some truly remarkable action sequences. And we get a nice long look at Michael B. Jordan, who plays the villainous Killmonger.
It looks like a superhero film of epic proportions!
Black Panther will hit theaters on February 16th, ahead of Avengers: Infinity War.
It’s safe to say that 2018 is going to be a banner year for Marvel Studios. We can’t wait!
