The logo was just revealed for 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,' and it's pure magic
We’re finally about a year away from the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the Harry Potter prequel of our dreams. The bad news is, you know, it’s still a year away. The good news is that it’s only a short year away, and now there’s an official logo for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Though it reveals absolutely nothing about the plot, one thing is clear: this movie is going to involve some beasts, and yes, it will be absolutely fantastic.
The newly created Fantastic Beasts Twitter shared the logo earlier this morning. Also, time to freak out because now we’ve got a brand new wizard font to swoon over. Gone are the little lightning bolts that used to accent everything for Harry Potter. Now they’ve been replaced by what looks like fangs, claws, and scales. Also, that ‘S’ is totally a dragon, right? Fantastic Beasts takes place in the United States — does that mean there have been dragons here this whole time?
In case you’ve forgotten, the story of Fantastic Beats will follow magizoologist Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, as he tries to document some magical beasts and yes, the story starts off in New York City (where he goes after what, WHO KNOWS?). Along with the new logo, there’s also the accompanying Twitter, and an Instagram, Facebook page, and working website, too. Go ahead and follow all of those, because learning Fantastic Beasts news the second it happens is going to be a top priority for the next year.
