Someone photoshopped Jeff Goldblum into all the roles in "Thor," because uh, Ragnarok finds a way
As some of you already know, a brand new trailer for the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok premiered over the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, and there’s not a whole lot that could make the trailer *better.* It’s got the return of sassy Tom Hiddleston as Loki! Mark Ruffalo in a blazer flying a ship through space! Tessa Thompson flanked by fireworks as she saves the day! See, it’s the best trailer ever.
And then Jeff Goldblum shows up.
It’s scientific fact that adding Jeff Goldblum to your movie makes it about +100% better, and the already great Thor movie is suddenly a contender for Best Picture at the 2018 Oscars — just based on Goldblum’s makeup alone. Honestly, the only thing that could make Thor more of a sweeping cinematic masterpiece is if Jeff Goldblum were to play all the roles in the movie.
Thankfully, the internet is one step ahead of us!
As Brian Firenzi writes on Twitter, he “fixed the Thor Ragnarok” poster, and yes, he sure did. Once again, not a whole lot needs to be done to get us even more psyched to see Thor this November. However, along with playing the Grandmaster, the idea of Goldblum playing the Goddess of Death (Hera) and King of Asgard (Odin) is enough for us to try and pre-order tickets right now.
And just to be clear, you can’t pre-order Thor tickets (yet), but framing this poster and hanging it on your wall to gaze at lovingly will certainly help pass the time ’til fall.
