Almost six years after we last visited Narnia, it’s about time we went back.

Earlier today, it was announced that there’s FINALLY going to be another movie in the Chronicles of Narnia saga. We kicked things off with The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe back in 2005 (omg, that was 11 years ago), and followed up with Prince Caspian in 2008. Both of these movies were produced and distributed by Disney, but the latest — and until right now, last — The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was released by 20th Century Fox. There hasn’t been any news out of Narnia since then.

That’s all about to change with the upcoming release of The Silver Chair. Heading off to another studio now, TriStar Pictures is at the helm, and yes, there’s a chance we’re going to see some familiar characters back once again.

The story of The Silver Chair follows Eustace (first introduced in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and the cousin of the Pevensie children) who, along with his classmate Jill, must find Prince Caspian’s missing son, and return him back to his father. The story also heavily features Aslan, because it’s not a Chronicles of Narnia story without everyone’s favorite talking lion.

It’s not clear right now if Liam Neeson, who has voiced Aslan in all the other movies, will once again return for this one, or if Will Poulter will reprise his role as Eustace. Also, Prince Caspian is very old in this story, so Ben Barns probably won’t be back, but who knows?! There’s always a chance other well-loved Narnia characters might return again, whether as their characters or a brand new one.

There’s no clear timeline for as to when the movie will start production, let alone be released in theaters, but we’ll be right here, hanging out by our biggest wardrobe, just waiting.
