When it comes to seeing a romantic movie, there is nothing quite like a setting that’s worlds away from yours. In the case of Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt’s new space movie, Passengers, this is quite literally the premise of the film. Lawrence and Pratt find themselves in a state of suspended animation before they awaken too early and find themselves on a luxury spaceship.

This is, of course, 120 years away from our current time. Even though there’s a pretty intense plot involving the spaceship (and like all good space movies, the entire fate of humanity) director Morten Tyldum tells Entertainment Weekly  that at the movie’s core, it is indeed a love story. Tyldum explains too that this film deals with some pretty intimate plot points: What makes us human? What do we need to lead fulfilling lives? And for that matter, what does it mean to be happy? Personally, I’m already banking on this film grabbing an Oscar.

So, what does this glorious film look like? The set has got to be absolutely breathtaking. Most importantly, what is Jennifer Lawrence wearing? Unfortunately for our curiosity, very few images from the film have been released, so we have to fill in a lot based on a few images — and our active imaginations, of course. On the bright side, the film is due to premiere on December 21st, 2016, making it the perfect film to enjoy over the holiday season. And hey, what images we do have access to, though, looks pretty darn fantastic.
