If someone asks you to think about the most iconic dance move ever, there’s a good chance you’ll think of the moment when Patrick Swayze lifts Jennifer Grey beautifully in Dirty Dancing. We’ve all daydreamed about being lifted (or doing the lift!) so fabulously. . . even if Jennifer Grey totally hated doing it. “I only did it on the day I shot it,” she told The Guardian last week. “Never rehearsed it, never done it since. I don’t know how all these people who re-enact it have the guts to throw themselves into the arms of anyone other than Patrick Swayze. It’s insane!”

One thing’s for sure: There are two people who certainly have the guts to land that lift awesomely. And those two are none other than Dancing With The Stars couple Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin, who totally seem to have got it down pat. Derek recently shared a pic on his Instagram depicting that iconic water-lift in the lake, and it’s perfect, TBH.

“What an honor to pay homage to this iconic dance film,” he wrote in the caption. “Nobody puts Bindi in the corner.” YAAAS.

The pair rehearsed for three hours in the lake at Franklin Canyon Park, amidst meddling ducks, according to ET. Oh, and in case you were wondering, Jennifer herself did stop by to help out, even if she only did that lift once. After all, she did perform on Dancing With The Stars before. . . with Hough himself. “She’s such an inspiration,” Bindi told ET. “She played Baby, and she was this girl who really wanted to change the world, and help other people. So I watched it went, ‘Ah! This is my story!'”

“I guess it was easy to give us Dirty Dancing because of my connection to Jennifer, but I think there are actually a lot of parallels between the movie and Bindi,” Derek wrote in TV Guide. “Baby’s 17 in the movie and so is Bindi. Baby wants to change the world. That’s Bindi. Even Bindi’s laughs when she gets goofy are so Jennifer. She’s my Baby Bindi!”

We are SO pumped to see the entire performance, and luckily, we don’t have to wait much longer to see the pair in action. Tune in tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
