Today in adorable: Pitch Perfect‘s Anna Camp gets *real* emotional when she thinks about how much the musical series has totally changed her life — across the board, professionally and personally.

That’s because, for starters, Camp landed an absolute gem of a role in a cappella aficionado Aubrey, who’s arguably the most Type A ever, but does learn to loosen up.

Hell yes to that.

No, but seriously, Camp is so passionate about playing Aubrey, she can’t imagine anyone else in the role.

Just as we can’t imagine anyone but her in the role. “My life has changed completely because of these films,” she said. “And I just feel so lucky and honored and I’m so happy that I got to play Aubrey.”

Then, there’s the whole thing about how Pitch Perfect has changed her life on a personal level, too.

She, of course, met her now-husband — Skylar Astin, who plays Jesse in Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2 — through the series. And when Camp looks back on the filmmaking experience, with that in mind, it makes her pretty sentimental.

Hold on, she’s not done melting our hearts yet: “It’s something that we can show our kids when we have them. You know, like, ‘Hey, look. It’s mom and dad in this crazy movie called Pitch Perfect.’ They’ll probably think that we’re total nerds, but that’s okay.”

Um, that’s more than okay. That’s wonderful and honestly, all this is making us pretty emotional too. But like, in the absolute best way. Now, excuse us while we rewatch Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2 and revel in the amazingness that is Anna Camp and Skylar Astin.

Pitch Perfect 3 — sans Astin — is in theaters now.
