Today in film news, there’s a little bit of awkward drama happening with the Beauty and the Beast remake, and it probably isn’t what you expect. It turns out that Angela Lansbury, the original Mrs. Potts, isn’t too thrilled about the live action Beauty and the BeastWe were so surprised to hear what she had to say, but we’re hearing her out.

As Angela Lansbury told Entertainment Weekly,


Eek. How awkward is that?! When asked about how she feels about someone else voicing Mrs. Potts, she had a similarly controversial response, but ultimately ended on a lighter and more positive note.

The original Mrs. Potts continued,


TG things ended up looking a little bit more hopefully. At the end of the day, a live action film is *so* different from a cartoon one, and we’re sure we’ll love the new Beauty and the Beast as much as we loved the original!
