Apparently Allison Janney loved "arresting" Emily Blunt on the "Girl on the Train" set, and we just wanna be there
Girl on the Train is one of those books that felt like it just *had* to become a movie, and luckily for us, that became a reality. Like, YES. We are so, so pumped. The film is absolutely packed with our fave celebs, one of which is Allison Janney, who apparently had a pretty damn good time on set.
Finally being cast in a serious role has Janney PUMPED!
“I’ve never played a detective before,” Janney told Entertainment Weekly. “I felt a little out of my element — I usually play crazy ladies. I felt pretty powerful with the costume on… it made me walk differently,” she says. “It was fun to walk around with a badge and a gun, going around making citizen arrests, ‘actor arrests,’ on set and being silly.”
“I arrested Emily a number of times for acting infractions,” Janney said. “’You were acting better than I was in that scene. I’m going to have to take you down to the station.’ It was very fun.”
We seriously love it so much when we find out that the stars we love are friends IRL, and not only that, when they genuinely seem to enjoy each other’s company on set. Our only regret is that we weren’t there to witness this in person!
