47 Meters Down is a thriller that doesn’t let up. It tells the story of two sisters — Lisa (Mandy Moore) and Kate (Claire Holt) — who decide to go on a cage dive in Mexico to get up close and personal with sharks.

Things soon take a horrific turn when their cage breaks off from the boat, and they sink 47 meters down (hey, that’s the name of the movie!) to the ocean floor. The dangers only increase from there — between the sharks, the threat of the bends, and limited oxygen at their disposal.

So yeah, 47 Meters Down is a very intense movie. But despite that, Moore and Holt were actually very tranquil while filming underwater, as they revealed in a behind-the-scenes clip about the making of the film, which is debuting on HelloGiggles.

Moore got in her own head while filming.

Holt also found something very relaxing about it all.

47 Meters Down will be available on Digital HD on September 12th, and on Blu-Ray Combo Pack, DVD, and On Demand on September 26th. We suggest you find your tranquil place before watching (or re-watching) because despite the filming process, it’s one intense thriller.
