Cue the “Get Your Freak On” references: Missy Elliott just released a music video and it’s better than we could’ve dreamed. Also, this is her first video in seven years and the shrieks of delight across the nation are practically audible.

The rapper-producer extraordinaire made her big return with her new single “WTF (Where They From)” feat. Pharrell Williams. It’s a banging, dance-worthy track that’s worth all three minutes and 40 seconds of it and then some. By the first set of verses, I had a chills running down my spine and a maniacal smile on my face (surely, a good sign).

As per usual, there’s impeccable choreography (keep your eyes peeled for Les Twins), incredible lipstick colors, disco ball jumpsuits, and marionettes. Yep, little Pharrell and Missy marionette puppets take over the second half of the video and dance through Pharrell’s verses like pros.

While there’s still no release date in sight for her upcoming album, we’re definitely following her on her brand new Instagram page (because updates!) and savoring every second of this video.
