Michael Bolton remade the "Game of Thrones" opening credits and sings the obvious: There are too many people in this show
Michael Bolton just killed it with a Screen Junkies video, another standout in his fairly recent foray into the comedy world. And to be honest, as much as we love Michael Bolton’s comedic exploits, we’ve definitely found our new favorite.
In the style of a for-your-consideration bid for Emmy votes, Screen Junkies made a YouTube video that takes on the opening credits for some very popular, current shows. The artists performing the songs are no big deal…Other than Michael Bolton, there’s just Natasha Bedingfield. And Paula Cole. And Brian McKnight. You know, whatever.
The best came last, when Bolton belted out his take on the Game of Thrones opening credits.
And you for sure do not want to miss this.
We love the nods to the massive amount of characters in the show. After naming the main cast…and then more of the cast…and then even more of the cast, it’s extra clear that there are just TOO MANY PEOPLE on this dang show.
And so, the credits end up looking something like this:
Also crucial: Michael Bolton sings with the assistance of a sword.
Not that, like, the sword is actually assisting him. But we think it adds enough to the video that it deserves proper credit.
So, yeah. If you have a few minutes to spare and want to laugh a whole lot while simultaneously feeling validated over the fact that you need a dedicated personal assistant with a spreadsheet to keep track of the Game of Thrones characters, then this video is for you.
