Your eyes do not deceive you. The last member of the Tanner family is really thinking about coming back to Fuller House — or, OK, make that the last two family members, seeing as how both Mary-Kate and Ashley might be back in their role as Michelle. This is amazing news, seeing as how it’s been previously reported that the girls wouldn’t be back.

“The Olsen twins are teetering [on] whether or not they’ll be around,” Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos told Entertainment Weekly at the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Beverly Hills. “There [are] bunch of opportunity for them if they choose to. But they’re not in the current creative [story.]”

Hmm. That’s a cryptic yes-no answer if I’ve ever heard one. But the fact that they’re still considering an appearance on the sitcom revival, is well, good enough for now.

Let’s do a quick recap of the Fuller Hose/Michelle Tanner drama. When the Full House revival was first announced, we were all like, YAY. So was most of the cast. However, according to MK and Ash, in an interview with WWD, they said weren’t in the loop about the revival, and knew nothing about it until it was publicly announced. (In Stephanie’s words, they were like, “how rude!”). After talking it over with their Uncle Jesse (Jon Stamos) everyone seemed to be on a good page again. But the Olsens were still going to opt out of the new Netflix series.

Later, Jodie Sweetin (who plays Stephanie) mentioned that even though Michelle won’t be on the show, she’ll still have a “presence” in the house — basically explaining that should Michelle ever come home, she’d be welcomed with open arms. So now this news, straight form Netflix, makes everything very interesting.

Fuller House just went into production this past week (eek!!), so that probably means the first script for the series is done. However, with the news that Olsen Twins are mulling over the idea of making a comeback, that could delay things. Yeah, delay them FOR THE BEST REASON. There’s been a little Mr. Bear shaped hole in our heart this whole time, knowing that Michelle would be the only person not to return to the show. Everyone else is back — including Steve! — and that’s just made us miss littlest Michelle so much more.

Nothing’s for certain yet, but we like the sound of this news a lot. We know the Olsens are super-busy running the fashion industry and such (seriously, they are the real deal), but if they asked to stop by the HOUSE and make it FULLER we’d be all “You got it, dude!”
