Before we say anything else, you should know that MAJOR SPOILERS lie ahead. If you did not finish watching Season 6 of The Walking Dead, then you should probably turn back now. Turn back before it’s too late.

Alright, since you didn’t turn back, let’s get down to business. On April 1st, an audio tape was leaked onto The Spoiling Dead. It allegedly contained the part of the finale we didn’t hear, the part that could potentially clue us into who was at the receiving end of Negan’s wrath. Considering that the death/injury scene was shot in first-person (from the victim’s POV), this is a pretty hefty hint.

Many believe that Glenn Rhee may no longer be with us (or may be severely wounded), since Maggie Greene was heard to be shouting “Glenn” in the audio clip, which you can listen to here. Seeing that AMC then quickly went into Damage Control mode, asking many publications to take down the audio tape, this made us all tilt our heads. After all, why would they try to erase the clip if it wasn’t legit?

Now, Lauren Cohan (who plays Maggie Greene) is weighing in on the matter, giving us some major, behind-the-scenes info. According to Cinema Blend, Cohan told The Huffington Post, “Here’s a good piece of intel. We shot the scene, and then individually went into a [sound] booth privately to record audio, so I don’t know. Nobody knows what anybody else said.” So it seems that we are (unfortunately) still being kept on the edge of our seats.

Lauren isn’t the only one who’s claiming to be in the dark. Many of The Walking Dead actors have stated that they have no idea who gets bludgeoned by Lucille (Negan’s barbed wire-covered baseball bat). Well, except for Norman Reedus, who told Today, “I know what happens, and it’s gut-wrenching.”

As for the rest of us, we’ll just have to wait for Season 7 to see who made it past the “Last Day on Earth.”
