It’s been a minute, but the eight-time Grammy award winning Lauryn Hill is back in a big and beautiful way. Last night, Ms. Hill owned The Tonight Show stage thanks to her flawless rendition of Nina Simone’s monster tune, “Feeling Good”.

The songstress, who is known for her raw, soulful voice, was a perfect pairing for the classic song. Lauryn even broke into some improvised scatting midway though the performance (which really, is only something Lauryn Hill could pull off).By song’s end, even Jimmy Fallon was swept up in the moment. Can’t say we blame him.

The song appears in Nina Simone’s tribute album for the documentary, What Happened, Miss Simone?  Now, are you ready to have the wind knocked out of you? Watch her incredible performance, below.
