There’s a lot of to get excited about in 2016, and Kung Fu Panda 3 is inching it’s way closer and closer to the top of that list.

Po and pals are back, five years after the last installment to the super popular animated classic, but this time, Po is reunited with his long-lost dad who’s been chilling in a Panda paradise all these years. As if that’s not enough to ‘YAY’ about, Po’s dad is voiced by the endlessly versatile Bryan Cranston, and that’s only the tip of the exciting casting iceberg.

There’s a menacing, supernatural villain voiced by J.K. Simmons, that is out to destroy Po and his peeps, and Po has to train a new generation of (super cute and cuddly) young Pandas to “rediscover what it means to be a Panda.”

Kate Hudson is also new to the Kung Fu Panda franchise, giving life to the new character Mei Mei, who is probably going to end up as Po’s love interest. If that’s not enough, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, and David Cross are the Furious 5 and Dustin Hoffman is Master Shifu.

Kung Fu Panda chops and kicks its way into theaters January 29, 2016
