Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets are back again! We love Mean Tweets. OK, that’s actually a weird thing to say. We don’t love the fact that there are people out there, tweeting mean things to our favorite stars. But we love the fact that Kimmel brings these wonderful super-game stars together to read these tweets for the whole world to hear. This week, there’s going to be even MORE Mean Tweet news for us: Kimmel has decided to do a week long Mean Tweets segment. SCORE.

As he explained last night on his show, he received a few Mean Tweets himself during the Emmys telecast this past Sunday, saying that some people on Twitter aren’t “what you would call… ‘sophisticated.'” Telling the audience, “Twitter has made it easy for famous people to interact with their fans, which is nice, but it also makes it easy for people to tell you how much they hate you.” So every night this week, Kimmel is going to share the hate and have a whole new batch of celebrities every single night to read aloud some mean words, in 140 characters or less.

Kimmel starts off with a batch of Mean Tweets directed at him, and then he brings out some of his best friends to do the same. First one up? THE DUDE. Jeff Bridges comes out to read a tweet, followed by real-life princess, Kristen Bell. The audience absolutely loses it when the last celeb comes out, none other than Benedict Cumberbatch. Even when someone’s being mean, Cumberbatch makes their words sound magical.

Check out the full video below—we’re super excited for a whole week of this.
