We love Kesha‘s voice and we love Ben Folds’ music, so it makes sense that when she performed last night with Ben Folds and the classical ensemble yMusic at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theater, they had a heck of a lot of fun.

Kesha sang a couple of Ben Folds’ hits, including this version of “Still Fighting It” alongside Ben on the piano. Honestly, I got chills listening to this:

Kesha even did these versions of “Rock This Bitch” and “Sleazy,” which his sounds like the audience ~ LOVED~:

It’s really, really great to see Kesha grinning ear-to-ear, isn’t it? We’re really loving it that she’s covering other artists, like Lady Gaga’s song “Til It Happens To You.”

Classical music may not be the first genre that comes to mind when you think of Kesha, but it totally works. YMusic are a pop/classical ensemble who play the flute, trumpet, clarinet and the string trio and they do lots of performances with more mainstream artists. Ben Folds has more tour dates with them through September (including in the UK and Australia), so make sure to check out if they will be performing near you this summer! And who knows, maybe Kesha will appear again?
