Last night was the finale of The Bachelorette, and it was, as usual filled with both joy and tears. JoJo Fletcher was choosing between Jordan, a former football player and Aaron Rodgers’ brother, and Robby, a former competitive swimmer.

First, Jordan and Robby met JoJo’s family.

Jordan immediately charmed them with his buoyant personality and silly gifts.

But he made a critical mistake, when he didn’t ask JoJo’s dad for her hand in marriage.

Robby presented himself as much more down-to-earth.

He sat down both of JoJo’s parents to ask them for their daughter’s hand in marriage.

Next, JoJo went on her final dates with Robby and Jordan.

She and Robby had a fun, romantic day on the beach.

They talked about future plans and what their life would look like, and JoJo was touched by how much though Robby had put into this. And tbh, we were feeling some real feelings while he talked.

At her date with Jordan, JoJo asked why Jordan hadn’t asked for her father’s permission.

And things got intense, because Jordan’s answer gave JoJo a lot of doubts.

Then everyone’s favorite guest Neil Lane brought the bling!

Jordan realized he screwed up and called JoJo’s parents.

They gave him their blessing over the phone.

After that, he felt confident and picked out a ring for JoJo.

Simple, but still amazing.

Robby made his selection, too.

This one’s a little more detailed, but JoJo definitely loves the bling.

Then it was time for the big moment.

Robby stepped out first, and we all know what that means.

JoJo stopped Robby before he could get down on one knee, which we appreciate. She told Robby that she loved him and how she wanted it to be him, but her heart was with someone else. Yeah, we’ve known that JoJo had eyes for Jordan from Day 1!

When Jordan got down on one knee, JoJo said yes!

These two make a beautiful couple, and we’re so glad to see them so happy!
