It’s no secret that we love Harry Potter everything. Even though the books are long finished and the movies completed, we still live in Hogwarts vicariously through Pottermore. The HP social network is a must for die-hard and casual fans alike: you can play games, earn badges and read exclusive essays from J.K. Rowling herself. Plus, you can score the Harry Potter eBooks — a treat in and of itself. But apparently, the Pottermore we know and love is about to get even more amazing.

“Soon, Pottermore as you know it will transform into a new and reimagined website, giving you the opportunity to discover even more about J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World,” a note to Pottermore members reads.

Apparently, part two of the site is taking things outside the gates of Hogwarts.

It will also be “packed with new features,” which we can’t wait to see.

“Part one of Pottermore’s story, in which you have enjoyed the depiction of Harry’s story through illustrated ‘Moment’ artwork and experienced life within Hogwarts, is ending. We are now preparing for part two of Pottermore’s story to begin,” the note continued. “As J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World expands, so too will Pottermore, becoming a place to imagine more and share in a world beyond the seven book series.”

We can’t wait to see how the site changes. Maybe that world beyond Hogwarts includes meeting adult Harry and his children? J.K. Rowling did bring up James S. Potter’s sorting ceremony recently. Or maybe it includes the upcoming projects Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them or Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. As if we needed a reason to spend even more time on Pottermore.
