Get ready, America! Your favorite wizards are headed to Broadway. The follow-up play to Harry Potter’s story has received rave reviews in London, and now Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is coming to Broadway for all of us American muggles. And there will be plenty of familiar faces.

We’re always thirsty for more Potter-related content and now that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is heading state-side to New York, that thirst could potentially be quenched. The play is also bringing most of the original cast along on the journey: Jamie Parker (Harry Potter), Noma Dumezweni (Hermione Granger) and Paul Thornley (Ron Weasley) with Poppy Miller (Ginny Potter), Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter), Alex Price (Draco Malfoy), and Anthony Boyle (Scorpius Malfoy) will all be returning in their roles.

Here’s what director John Tiffany had to say about the exciting news in a statement:

The play earned nine Olivier Awards during its time in London and since a bunch of the main cast is returning, we’re pretty sure it’s going to be just as amazing this time around. Preview shows will begin in New York in March with the play officially opening April 22nd, 2018. So start planning your trip. Meet you at Platform 9 3/4.
