The Gwen Stefani/Blake Shelton train continues to melt our hearts. The two musicians clearly have a lot in common and we’re already seeing how they’re influencing each other’s work: Gwen has admitted that her latest single, “Make Me Like You,” is about Blake.

And now there’s even better/cuter news. Shelton and Stefani are expected to release a duet on the country singer’s upcoming album, People reported. (This is what our musical dreams are made of!)

There are very few details about the song, but just the thought of it actually happening is exciting enough.

In the meantime, we have Shelton’s new album to be excited about, which we don’t have an exact release date for — all we hear is that it’s coming out “soon.” Specifically, his new single, which we finally got to hear and now can’t stop listening to.

Shelton tweeted his enthusiasm about his new single:

And Kelly Clarkson tweeted her own excitement about the song in a reply to Shelton:

And it gets even better, because Stefani then tweeted a response to Clarkson gushing about the amazingness of the song (and the fact that she got to hear it first… #jeal):

Shelton considers this song to be extremely personal, something he really hasn’t done before. “I’ve had a lot of music over the years but I don’t think I’ve ever had a song before that’s such a direct look into my life,” Shelton said in a press release on his website. “That’s why I’m so excited about this particular song.”

We’re excited too, but Stefani seems to be the most excited out of all of us. Which is adorable and now we want to hear her song with Shelton that much more!
