Despite George R.R. Martin’s recent admission that The Winds of Winter, the sixth book in the A Song of Fire and Ice series, won’t be complete in time for the April debut of the next season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, most people are very, very excited for the return of the fantastical epic.
If fact, members of the show’s cast are already starting to make the interview rounds, dropping hints here and there about what audiences can expect in the new season. Last night, British actress Natalie Dormer, who’s played Lady Margaery Tyrell since season 2, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! and in the process hinted at some spoilers.
It’s no secret that Game of Thrones is shot in different locales throughout the year (just one of the reasons it’s so expensive to make), and so Kimmel asked where Dormer spent most of her time shooting her character’s scenes for the upcoming season.
“I’m mainly in Belfast, [Ireland],” she says. “But I was in Spain a lot this year. I really enjoyed being in Spain.”
“Is that a bit of a spoiler?” asks Kimmel. “Because I think you were in a dungeon the last time we saw you.”
To which Natalie Dormer coyly replies, “There are dungeons in Spain as well, Jimmy.” But are there?? Maybe she’s out of the dungeon? Tell us more Natalie!
