You need to watch this seven-year-old girl flawlessly impersonating Taylor Swift
Given that we might not have a new album from her anytime soon, we need to get our Tay Swift fix somewhere. Luckily, we’ve found the CUTEST video of a little girl flawlessly impersonating Taylor Swift, and we can’t actually get enough of it.
We love seeing kids expressing themselves and sharing what they love, whether it’s through lip-synching to Fifth Harmony, dancing around the living room, dancing in Halloween costumes, or having their parents dress them up in cute AF costumes.
However, if you ever needed proof that kids were the ultimate impersonators of us adults, then you needn’t look any further.
Seven-year-old Xia Vigor took part in the Filipino TV show Your Face Sounds Familiar, where she performed as her idol, Taylor Swift, and she absolutely nailed it!
The show sees kids imitate their favorite singers, and people have performed as Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. However, Xia’s Taylor Swift impersonation is so on point it’s almost like watching Taylor herself.
Taking part in Your Face Sounds Familiar, Xia was dressed in Tay’s marching band outfit. She then performed the singer’s 2008 track “You Belong With Me,” complete with typical Taylorisms. Half way through, she then does an incredible costume change into another of the singer’s iconic outfits.
Seriously, you NEED to watch this.
Hailing from Exeter in England, Xia is a proper star in the Philippines, with a big social media following and a career in movies and TV. In fact, this isn’t her first turn on You Face Sounds Familiar. Xia previously did a performance as Selena Gomez, covering the singer’s hit “Love You Like A Love Song.”
Following her performance as Taylor, the seven-year-old shared a backstage picture from the show, and she just looks so cute it’s almost too much.
Not only does Xia Vigor absolutely SLAY her impersonation of Taylor Swift, but she looks like she’s having the most fun while doing it, too, which is the most important thing.
We’d absolutely LOVE to see her impersonate some more famous singers, wouldn’t you?
