Do you know who is making headlines today? Our forever uncle, John Stamos. And there are myriad reasons why Jesse Katsopolis is at the top of our feeds. For one, there’s the upcoming Unauthorized Full House Movie coming to Lifetime; which has fans doing the anticipation dance and Stamos tweeting the following:

So yeah, doesn’t sound like he’s that into it.

Then there’s the glorious reality that there’s a Full House spin-off series coming to Netflix. The Olsen twins made headlines for saying they really didn’t know that whole Netflix thing was happening. “We just found out about it today. I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening,” Mary-Kate told Women’s Wear Daily. “I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John [Stamos].”

Uncle Jesse wasn’t really having that from Michelle(s) so he tweeted this:

Moral of the story: John Stamos is full of reactions to all this Full House news, just like us!

So while we’re here, let’s talk a smidge about this Full House tell-all sitch. We weren’t exactly looking for any type of Full House tell-all, but if you build it [s]he will come. We love Full House no matter what, so yes, we will gladly accept a Lifetime tell-all movie about what went on behind the scenes. Thank you very much for offering.

The Unauthorized Full House Movie (which Lifetime wants us to know is just the working title) will, according to the official logline, “look at the rise of the cast and the pressure on them to balance the idyllic family life on the show with the more complicated reality of their own lives outside the series, but it will also look at the warm bond that grew up between the cast as the show became one of America’s most beloved family sitcoms.”

Oh yes. We’re intrigued.

Ron McGee, who wrote the Saved By The Bell movie will write this one as well. There’s one big difference between the last movie, and this new movie, though — there’s no established source material for it. The Saved By The Bell movie was loosely based on Dustin Diamond’s Behind the Bell: Behind the Scenes of Saved by the Bell with the Guy who was There for Everything. There is no Full House behind-the-scenes book, unless we are talking about the 300+ Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen books, but those are about solving mysteries and having slumber parties and are GREAT.

Bob Saget, who played dad Danny Tanner (and will play dad Danny Tanner again in Fuller House because the world is a wonderful place), wrote a book titled Dirty Daddy back in 2014, but it doesn’t solely focus on his time with Full House. There are anecdotes in it — like, when he writes that “Dave [Coulier], John [Stamos] and I would egg each other on and we were often driven to outbursts of non-family-friendly humor” — but that’s so tame compared to what’s suggested was happening over at Saved By the Bell’s Bayside. As far as we know, the Full House cast got along amazingly well, and are still incredibly close today. It’s hard to imagine that there was any insane drama happening off-camera, but this new unauthorized movie might suggest differently.

Regardless of what drama may or may not have happened during Full House‘s run from 1987-1995, this is the kind of thing that we won’t reaaaallly want to watch, but then won’t be able to stay away from. Of course, remember that a lot of this won’t be verified so it’s a bit like the television version of the game telephone, but it will definitely be entertaining. The movie is in the beginning of pre-production, and according to The Hollywood Reporter casting is going to start immediately. Soooo, who’s going to play Uncle Jesse?
