There are very few things that will get me to exercise. You can Instagram your cross fit session all you want, but you are not tricking me into thinking that is the way I should spend my time. I have so many other, equally healthy things to do like watch The Killing, or watch Orange Is The New Black, or do literally anything else that does not involve sneakers or a machine that makes me sweat.
But if i’m being truly honest, exercising isn’t all that bad. Here is what I really do love about exercising:
1. The sports bras. It’s like I’m getting a hug from a friend that just wants to keep me safe.
2. The accomplished feeling when a workout is over. Right? No more running, no more sweat, the pain is over.
3. The music. Gotta love those high energy beats. In no other setting could my anxiety-filled brain be around music that makes me feel like I’m not fast enough. When I’m running, however, I can’t help but love it.
And that’s it. Those are the only good things about exercising. Okay, fine, the only good things besides having a healthy lifestyle. Jeez, happy now?
