All Harry Potter fans have likely already seen clips of Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them, but a brand new trailer was released during Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, and SO MUCH MORE has been revealed.

The new movie is a prequel to J.K. Rowling’s 2001 book of the same name and gives a look into what the American Wizarding World world was like in 1926. That’s 70 years before Harry Potter ever realizes he’s a wizard. So obviously it’s going to be incredible.

In the trailer, Hogwarts textbook author Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) is arriving in New York. He isn’t smuggling livestock or anything edible, but he is smuggling a couple of magical creatures (because of course he is), and one of those creatures manages to escape. As one would imagine in a situation like that, things get crazy — so Percival Graves (Colin Farrell) is sent after him.

But the best part isn’t that the movie stars Redmayne and Farrell (although that’s definitely a major highlight), it’s that some very familiar characters will be returning. Like Albus Dumbledore!

The movie will premier in November and is the first in a trilogy. The other two movies are set to be released in 2018 and 2020. Not soon enough in our opinion.
