The weekly results show for The Voice aired last night on NBC, and as usual it was full of drama and tears. But this time, it was extra special because it also featured a live performance by none other than the queen herself, Dolly Parton.

We love Dolly, and we love that she showed up at The Voice with a rhinestone bedazzled guitar in rainbow hues that totally matched her song “Coat of Many Colors.” (Because of course she did. And that’s just one of the many reasons she’s amazing.) Her performance was glorious and left us with a bit of a lump in our throats. (That song, though. Sniffle!) NBC is also actually set to air an original television movie based on Dolly’s song. Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors is scheduled for Thursday night, and according to Variety,  it “does, indeed, feature said coat, the garment mom stitched together out of colorful rags.”

Oh, be still our hearts. If the movie is as perfect as this performance we’ll definitely be tuning in.
