When I saw CHVRCHES live at the Radio 104.5 Block Party in Philadelphia this past spring, I fell in love. I already knew that the band was unbelievably talented, but seeing them live singing my fave tunes from The Bones Of What You Believe completely blew me away.

Why? Because their sound is totally new–their whispy, delicate sounds, combined with intense synth, completely hypnotized me in the best way humanly possible.

CHVRCHES is known for doing super fab covers, such as “Do I Wanna Know” by the Arctic Monkeys. But now, they’ve outdone themselves with this amazing TBT: they just covered Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” circa 2002. It’s a great modern twist on a 13-year-old song, and it pulls at our nostalgic heartstrings.

The cover was done at BBC’s live lounge, and Lauren Mayberry’s dulcet tones are a perfect way to honor JT’s legacy. Check out the cover and let us know what you think.
