She may have looked like royalty, but Chrissy Teigen sitting down on the Golden Globes red carpet last night was the definition of relatable.

The model and her husband, singer John Legend, became parents to Luna Simone Stephens in April, so their decision to take a seat during an E! News interview with Ryan Seacrest is totally understandable. Seriously — they probably haven’t slept through the night in the last nine months, so can you really blame them?

New parenthood or not, Seacrest still playfully ribbed the Greatest Couple of All Time, joking that the pair were “exhausted” because “it’s hard being here.” To that, the always-cool John replied, “It’s hard work dressing up and posing on red carpets.”

Hard work indeed, John.

That wasn’t the end of their sitting-down antics, though. Not only did Chrissy pull her friend, Blackish star Anthony Anderson, onto the steps of the red carpet to have a seat with her, she also declined to get up to meet Ryan Reynolds, preferring instead to great him from the comfort of the stairs.

She’s seriously a goddess. A comfort enthusiast and goddess.

After the exhausting show, Chrissy changed into another phenomenal gown to attend the Globes after-party (how she kept up her energy, we’ll never know).

And when she finally arrived home, she did the thing we know she’d probably been looking forward to all night: took her shoes off — and laid the eff down.

Never change, Chrissy.
