Chloë Grace Moretz talks to Julianne Moore about growing up in the public eye
We have such a soft spot for the incredibly talented and *beyond* feminist Chloë Grace Moretz, so when she opened up to Teen Vogue (in an interview conducted by her Carrie costar, Julianne Moore) about trying to find herself under the public’s oh-so-watchful eye, we were happy to listen. She’s been famous for *such* a long time, with major roles for over a decade already, and we can definitely see why there would be both good and bad sides to growing up famous.
On the one hand, being involved in film so early helped her find herself.
On the other hand, it can be hard to be watched 24/7.
The couple is absolutely adorable, and we can only imagine how the fact that they’re both famous contributes to them being under constant scrutiny.
She went on to say,
Chloë Grace Moretz has been *so* open about her political beliefs, and she even spoke on behalf of Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention. Talk about using your platform to really make a difference!
She credits her supportive family with her ability to grow up in the public eye with minimal drama.
We’re so glad that — despite all the often unwanted attention — Moretz seems so incredibly grounded. We hope you continue your trajectory as one of the most badass and powerful young women in Hollywood, Chloë. Because the place desperately needs you!
