We’ve been excited about the Coen Brothers new movie Hail Caesar for a while now because 1.) It’s a Coen Brothers movie, 2.) it takes place in old-timey Hollywood, be still our hearts, and 3.) It features some of our favorite stars around: George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson , Josh Brolin, Tilda Swinton, Jonah Hill, Frances McDormand,  and Channing Tatum.

And then we saw the trailer, You guys. The trailer. It contains things we didn’t even KNOW we needed to see. George Clooney getting his Ancient Rome on, Scarlett Johansson as an Esther Williams-inspired bathing beauty, and of course, Channing Tatum as a Gene Kelly-like movie musical star, dancing in a sailor suit backed up by a whole bunch of other guys dancing in sailor suits.

He grooves on tables, he slides across a bar counter, he shimmies and salutes, basically he does all the things you never knew you needed Channing Tatum to do for you, but in a sailor suit (which you also never knew you needed, revelations coming in hot and fast here.)

Okay, so it’s only a few seconds of the trailer. But it’s a glorious few seconds (and the rest of the trailer is pretty great, too), and, as we know, a trailer is only supposed to be a sneak peek, so we’re anticipating some solid time with Channing’s dancing shoes in this film.

Trailer below, watch Chan tear up the scenery. Hail Caesar, indeed.
