It might be completely savage, desperately rude, and, well, mean, but it’s safe to say that everybody LOVES the Jimmy Kimmel Live! segment, “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets.”

For those that don’t know, the segment sees a bunch of very, very famous people read the mean things that people write about them on Twitter and social media.

You might not believe it, but the popular skit has reached it’s 10th version, and to celebrate Jimmy Kimmel, who recently wowed audiences with his recent hosting duties at the Emmys, invited a bunch of A-listers down to read those nasty trolling comments and it’s hilarious.

Opening the video is Hugh Grant, who reads a tweet that states:

While some celebrities read the tweets with a dead straight face, some found the tweets too funny.

ABC/Jimmy Kimmel Live!

What does “smells like low tide” even mean!? 😂

Taking part in the segment were the likes of Zac Efron, Ryan Gosling, Judd Apatow, Wonda Sykes, and Paul Rudd, who someone said seems like he eats bland spaghetti each day.

Previously, people like Britney Spears, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lena Dunham, Julia Roberts and President Obama (!) have all read the mean things that people have tweeted about them.

While these are HILARIOUS, sending anyone mean tweets is not okay. It’s important to remember that celebrities, just like us, are people and that sending hateful things across the internet does affect people.
