You might remember earlier this year that Carly Rae Jepsen’s epic song “Run Away With Me” became a huge internet meme.

That’s not the only way that Carly has become a meme, however. It seems that her fans are pretty amorous when it comes to commenting on the Canadian singer’s social media accounts.

Every time the singer posts a picture or tweets, fans immediately start declaring her the “queen of…” whatever is in the picture or in the tweet. false

When asked about the phenomenon by Gay Times, the singer seemed to be quite perturbed by it all. “It’s getting out of hand, but it’s so funny! My band are always making jokes about it. I’ll be drinking an orange juice and they’ll say, like, ‘Queen of drinking orange juice.’ I’m like, ‘OK, OK…’.”

It seems, though, that Carly cannot escape being memed.

The singer recently released a collection of eight new songs as a gift for fans to celebrate a year since her amazing album, Emotion.

Within hours of the album’s release, one of the tracks, “Store,” seems to have already become meme.

It even fits with Mean Girls…

…And Hannah Montana.

These are totally us.

When you go out shopping.

When things get particularly lit at Walmart.

Omg, we’re actually crying with laughter and we’re not even sure why it’s so funny!

Queen of making songs that get turned into memes…

Carly Rae Jepsen’s Emotion Side B is available now, so be sure to check it out. Despite being meme-able, it’s totally great.
