As is now a right of passage when a huge artist is about to drop a new album, Katy Perry is heading to Carpool Karaoke, and we’re already thinking about what songs she might perform.

Over the last few years, James Corden’s popular Late Late Show segment, Carpool Karaoke, has given us some real gems: Adele rapping Nicki Minaj and singing the Spice Girls, Madonna twerking on a car seat, Britney Spears talking about tickle fetishes…and of course we’ll never forget that time when Lady Gaga showed off her (somewhat questionable) driving skills.

In fact, Carpool Karaoke has proven so popular that the segment is even getting it’s own spinoff show on Apple Music!

Well, now we know the next star who will be jumping into James Corden’s Range Rover and performing some of their biggest hits: Ms. Katy Perry!

Perry, of course, is currently in full-blown campaign mode for her upcoming fourth album. The singer has shared two songs, the politically charged “Chained To The Rhythm,” and the more playful and cheeky “Bon Appétit.”

In fact, Katy Perry’s edition of Carpool Karaoke is going to be particularly special. According to Variety, it will be part of a special episode of The Late Late Show dedicated to James Corden’s singing escapades, with the chat show host picking his favorite Carpool clips. The episode will air later this month.

If that weren’t enough, he’ll also be joined by Jennifer Lopez (!). The pair will take part in a “Toddlerography” class, in which a toddler will teach them how to dance. Adorable!

Sharing the news on social media, Katy Perry tweeted:

Given how many iconic and amazing singles Katy Perry has, we have no doubt that it’ll be tricky to pick just a few songs to perform. However, we’ll be pretty gutted if we don’t get renditions of “Teenage Dream,” “Dark Horse,” “Roar,” or “Firework.”

Meanwhile, the singer recently shared her latest single “Bon Apétit” featuring Migos.

Katy performed the song for the first time during Monday night’s Met Gala. It’s expected that she’ll give the track its television debut during the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 20th.

You can catch The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special 2017 on May 22nd at 10pm ET/PT on CBS.
