Britney Spears, i.e. the most relatable celebrity known to man, has opened up about her career doubts and girl, we feel you.

The 34-year-old mother of two was speaking to the UK’s NME magazine as part of a special edition promoting the star’s upcoming sojourn at the AppleMusic festival, which starts in London this Sunday (September 18th).

Opening up the magazine, Britney spoke about longevity in the music industry and it’s real.

It seems that, just like all of us, Britney has doubts about what she does. We know that we’ve been struck down by questions about what we do and our careers. It’s totally natural.

Britney also told the magazine that, with her new album Glory, she decided to stop being such a people pleaser.

Brit went on to explain that, at the beginning of the project, the songs being submitted just weren’t good enough.

Well Brit, we think you definitely delivered with Glory. The album is G-R-E-A-T and we can’t stop listening to it.

As Brit says, “Stay cool, friends.”
