Hold on to your high heels as Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie is joining the cast of Kinky Boots on Broadway!

Given how important Panic! at the Disco were and still are to us, it’s no secret that we’ve been low key living for their resurgence in popularity. The band’s most recent album, Death of a Bachelor, was a massive success, and since then the band have gone on to wow us with a cover version of The Weeknd’s “Starboy” and their recent music videos, such as the seductive #throwback of the album’s title track, which pays homage to the old school Las Vegas of yesteryear.

Now it’s been announced that Panic! at the Disco frontman, Brendon Urie, is set to make his Broadway debut.

As report, Urie is set to join the cast of Kinky Boots, which is currently celebrating it’s fourth year on The Great White Way.

The singer will join the hit musical, which has also seen YouTube sensation Todrick Hall sign up, as Charlie Price from May 26th, with his run ending on August 6th. Urie will take over the role from stage musical stalwart Killian Donnelly.

In a video announcing the news, Urie said that he was fulfilling a life long dream.

“I’m thrilled to be making my Broadway debut with this fantastic company,” he said in a statement. “I’m a huge fan of Kinky Boots and musical theater, and am honored to be joining the cast.”

Meanwhile, Panic! at the Disco will finish up the “Death of a Bachelor” tour this week. For tickets visit here.
