Here's a break down of ALL the crazy things we saw in Bran's latest vision on "Game of Thrones"
While our poor Hodor was left holding that damn door, Bran’s time and space traveling visions got waaaay more intense in this Sunday’s Game of Thrones episode “Blood of My Blood”. The vision had less than two minutes of screen time, but it contained several lifetimes of images. Here’s a breakdown.
First, we got a look at some pyromancers, (Possibly Hallyne? You know, the dude who helped Tyrion win the Battle of Blackwater back in Season 2 with all that wildfire) grabbing some bottles of wildfire.
But THEN we got a look at, OMG, a dragon (probably Drogon)…
…flying over King’s Landing! Is this MAJOR foreshadowing / visions of the future?!
Then we got our FIRST look at Aerys II Targaryen, aka “The Mad King” (making some pretty freaky faces).
Next, we jumped back to the Battle at Hardhome from Season 5 where we saw Jon Snow’s old friend, the Night King doing his “wut?” pose.
And we also got a single frame shot of short-lived wildling leader Karsi in her wight-form (remember her?!).
We then revisited Bran’s literal back-breaking fall from the pilot.
Saw Catelyn Stark’s death at the Red Wedding.
Daenerys’ post-fire rebirth with baby Drogon on her shoulder (awww!)
Craster’s last son turned into a baby White Walker at the hands of the Night King.
And then the “OMG” beheading of Ned Stark from Season 1.
Then Bran had a little sunrise interlude and we took a quick breather.
This was followed by imagery of flying ravens.
Those pyromancers hard at work making wildfire.
The Mad King screaming “burn them all!” (a story Jaime had told Brienne back in Season 3).
And those familiar green wildfire flames, this time, flying down through the halls of King’s Landing.
We saw Jaime approach the Mad King (OMG, we’ve heard allll about this!).
Young Ned Stark made a quick appearance…
…which was immediately followed by what may VERY WELL BE his hand covered in blood (MAYBE Lyanna’s blood?!), which was one of the most mysterious parts of Bran’s vision.
Jaime killing the Mad King, thus earning his “king slayer” title.
We revisited poor Robb Stark’s death at the Red Wedding.
And got another look at a raven and the recently deceased child of the forest, Leaf.
In the next part of Bran’s vision, we saw a lot of that same imagery from earlier, then revisited the Battle at Hardhome where we watched the wight army doing their thing.
We also got a look at the horse-riding White Walker Sam saw back in Season 2 (Does that make this guy a White Rider?!).
Then, of course, we remember this big mistake Bran made while vision questing.
PHEW. So…did you catch all that?
